Still Alive!!

Sorry it has taken me months to get around to posting again. I could say it has been because I have been busy, but really I just haven't taken the time to do it. But we are still alive and better than ever. Lola is now 5 months old and I can't believe how fast time has flown by. She rolls over, is getting so much better at tummy time, can sit up all by herself, and is so aware of everything around her. One of my favorite new things is that she has found her voice. She screams and squeals so loud when she is kicking and happy playing with her toys. It is so funny. I need to get a video of it and post it because Josh and I just love to watch her and we laugh at her adorable expressions. She also started eating solid foods and does really good eating with a spoon. Green Beans are her favorite (just like her mommy) but she really loves Sweet Potatoes as well. She is so much fun and I absolutely LOVE being a mother. I have only had a very few hours I can work with my clients lately so that has left alot of time to be with my girl and I love it.

Josh is a wonderful father. He plays and talks to her in the cutest voices. She loves her daddy so much and whenever he is in the room or talking she just stares and when she catches his eye she grins SO big. We also adopted a new puppy Tandy. Lola loves her and they are already best of friends. Tandy is a Golden Retriever mix and she is so adorable. Having her around has made me think alot about Livy and what a good dog she was, but we sure love our little Tandy. She is taking some effort to get house trained but she is alot of fun.

Here are a few updated pictures of Lola. I love it when her hair is all crazy when we take it out of piggy tails. Her eyes are so beautiful and her facial expressions just crack us up. Overall she is pretty much the most gorgeous thing I have ever laid eyes on!!! There is also a little video at the end from a while back when she first started making all of her cute little noises.

Just after bath time. She cries everytime we take her out because she LOVES the water!

Chowing down on rice cereal.

She loves to snuggle and fall asleep with her daddy.

Lola loves her toes (piggies) and she fell asleep hanging on to them in her swing...it was so cute I had to get a picture.

Reading stories with daddy! Lola LOVES books.

All buckled up to go on a car ride to watch uncle Ty-ty play baseball.

I can't help but smile when I look at this one. She is all dressed up for Easter Sunday.

She sure is a beautiful baby. And you looked great the other weekend when we were up for Logan's farewell. I'm so glad I keep my "friends and family list" so that it automatically moves the most recently updated blogs to the top of the list...Great to see what's happening in you darling family!
