Drive Safely Wayne

We were able to attend the funeral of Wayne Richard Johnson yesterday, aka Wayne Richards the voice of Southeastern Idaho, Classy 97.3. My brother Rob is married to his daughter Jodee, and I have had the opportunity on several occassions to get to know Wayne and learn what an incredible person he was. The funeral service was beautiful, the sounds choir sang, and all the speakers gave a beautiful tribute to such a wonderful man. Wayne helped me on several occassions to cut music for the team I coached in Rigby and was always so generous with his time and talent. Josh and I lovingly referred to him as "Voice Midas" because everything his voice touched turned to gold! The "Freedom Celebration" on the 4th of July will never quite be the same without that golden voice. It made me so grateful once again for the knowledge that I have of eternal families, and the great plan of our Heavenly Father. Please everyone keep the Johnson family in your prayers.
